Mr. Jones
supervises and coordinates the University's medical care for 20 NCAA Division
I/IAA athletic teams with his primary sport responsibility being Football.
In addition to his Athletic Trainer duties, Mr. Jones serves as Assistant
Professor for the Athletic Training major in the Department of Physical Education,
Wellness and Sport Studies where he teaches one three hour class within the
Athletic Training major. It is Mr. Jones's responsibility to see that there
is coordination between the educational program and the service program.
Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lenoir-Rhyne (N.C.) College, and a Master
of Arts from Gardner-Webb University. Jones and his wife, Shelly, have two
children, Taylor and Ryan.
